CYNESA Team All Set For CoP17
Five CYNESA team members drawn from four countries- Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe are participating in the CoP17 as ‘Observers’. The team will also reach out to young Catholics in Johannesburg, to learn about the environmental challenges they face in their communities and to share their faith.
CYNESA Hosts African Faith Leaders for an Advocacy Training
CYNESA hosted ten multi-faith African Faith Leaders from Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Malawi, and Zimbabwe for an Environmental Advocacy immersion in Nakuru County, Kenya. The training experience was part of the evaluation process of the impact that the Faith Leaders’ Environmental Advocacy Training (FLEAT) initiated and supported by SAFCEI.
